Following a dangerous incident outside my Lincoln Square home, my boyfriend and I were left wondering how we could help the neighborhood. Coincidentally, we learned that our impressive and involved alderman (and next-door neighbor) had just announced his run for Illinois governor. So I decided to use my creative talents to help him as he tries to help make Illinois better, safer, and a better provider for kids & families statewide.
Initially, I developed two design concept for both campaign logo and campaign elements (you can view the initial mood boards for Flight and Keystone on InVision). When the campaign decide to move forward with the Flight concept, I created usable assets and logos so the whole volunteer marketing & design team could proceed with developing a new website, emails, and printed assets.
My roles: Brand concept and implementation, style guide creation, client presentation
